Still no updates whether my costume can be done or not.
Now I’m getting worried. I could just buy it off on ebay. But I won’t be here physically to receive it and it cost money that I’m too stingy to waste on fabric.
Are you kidding me? Times like these I wish I am an expert seamstress..
Also my older sister is planning to cosplay as Masako Araki from Kuroko no Basuke and asked me to use my creative mind to make a shinai. Her boyfriend’s brother(s?) are going to cosplay characters from that anime too. I think one of them is going as Atsushi Murasakibara.
… That’s so fricken cool..
I’m not even sure that people would cosplay character from Kagepro a.k.a Mekakucity Actors in anime which is coming up in April.
Plus I haven’t pack my suitcase for my trip to the Philippines(You can tell that I’m procrastinating by blogging about it once or twice now).
Wish me luck~!
OH shoot! I forgot to post something yesterday.
Today—actually yesterday—was my best friend’s birthday. And I’m not one of those people that plans events such as birthdays, hang-outs, etc. Plus her schedule is fixed. She has classes and work on her birthday. And she’s not really the type of person to ask for a day-off because of her birthday. That’s how dedicated she is when it comes to academics and job.
And I totally respect that. Knowing her, she would be checking her facebook and see loads of people wishing her a “happy birthday.” Being her best friend since sixth grade, I don’t need to cheat with facebook because I already know when her birthday is.
So here is what I posted on her facebook:
Got my wig for my Kido cosplay. Now I just have to ensure that my costume is tailored right… I hope.
The tragedy here, Mr. Matthews, is not about a dumb girl, or the boy who kills himself because of her. It’s about the all-consuming power of love. And the inevitability of its influence on each of our lives.
Was going to shop for my little sister for architecture books and snacks you only get in Hawaii.
Stay home instead and had a Sherlock marathon on this rainy Sunday.
|Me:||"Remember the last time we came here? There was a couple."|
|Sister:||*looking her fb on her SG Note III* "Yeah?"|
|Me:||"While they're eating, that lady was on her laptop and her husband was on his phone. If that's the norm of marriage in today's society, then we are screwed."|
|Sister:||*still scrolling through her newsfeed* "I know right?"|
|Me:||"No "human interaction" at all, whatsoever.."|
|Sister:||*STILL on her phone* "Uh huh.."|
|Me:||*stares her down* ... "You're doing exactly the same thing that they were doing!"|
|Sister:||"Oh! Oh!" *Puts her phone down on the counter* "Okay. Okay."|
|*motions her hand towards my direction* "Human|
|*motions her hand back to herself* Interaction."|
|*She does this action four or five times*|
